HYROX

HYROX training in central Warsaw

We are a HYROX affiliate club at Nowogrodzka 31, three minutes from Centrum metro. We train for the race all year: a 90-minute HYROX session every Sunday, and strength, running and station work during the week.

Your first class is free – including if you have never raced.

What HYROX actually is

Eight one-kilometre runs, each followed by one station. Always the same stations, always in the same order – which is why you can train for them specifically instead of just "getting fitter".

  1. 01

    1,000 m SkiErg

The opener: arms and back straight off the first kilometre.

  2. 02

    50 m sled push

Pushing the sled. The most common place where pacing falls apart.

  3. 03

    50 m sled pull

Rope-pulling the sled from a low stance.

  4. 04

    80 m burpee broad jump

Burpees with a forward jump – the most expensive station for your breathing.

  5. 05

    1,000 m row

Rowing technique here is worth minutes, not seconds.

  6. 06

    200 m farmers carry

Walking loaded. Grip is the limit, not your legs.

  7. 07

    100 m sandbag lunges

Lunges with a bag on your shoulders, seven kilometres into the race.

  8. 08

    75 or 100 wall balls

The last station. This is where the race is decided.

How we train for it at MGW

Sunday, 9:30 – the HYROX session

90 minutes of running, stations and pacing in a race-like format. The coach watches your pace and technique instead of just counting rounds.

Midweek – strength and technique

Functional Bodybuilding, weightlifting and gymnastics. Wall balls and sandbag lunges are won with leg strength built beforehand, not on race day.

Open Gym – ergs and sleds

Rower, SkiErg and sleds available outside class if you follow your own running plan or are peaking for a specific race.

Who this is for

You run and want more

You have the kilometres, but sleds and wall balls knock you out of rhythm. Strength is the gap, not endurance.

The gym is not enough

You have lifted for years, but the eighth kilometre is the problem. You need aerobic work that does not cost you strength.

You just want to try it

No entry ticket and no experience required. Every station scales – there is always a first-time version.

HYROX – the questions we get most

Do I have to race to come to HYROX classes?+

No. Most people in these sessions have never been on a start line. It is simply training that joins running to strength – worth doing on its own merit.

How much does HYROX training cost?+

HYROX classes are included in the All In membership at no extra cost. Your first class is free, and a single entry costs the same as any other – see the pricing page.

I am starting from zero. Can I survive 90 minutes?+

Yes. Distances and loads are scaled to the person, and the coach runs the group so that nobody is left alone with an empty counter. The first session is about learning the stations, not about a time.

How far from the city centre are you?+

Nowogrodzka 31, a three-minute walk from Centrum metro and Warszawa Centralna station. You can fit it in before or after work, with no changes.

First class is free
